Would you love to take a stroll through the endless forest and spotting an elk or deer on the way?
Camp the night on a private island? It’s all possible. Make memories at Camp Grinsby, on the water, in the forest or on one of the islands.

Beautiful campspots, at the edge of the forest, along the waterside or in the sunny field. You are welcome with tent, caravan, camper, boat …
CAMPSITE with 75 spots
Beautiful campspots by the water, in the forest, in the big field, gravelspots for campers.
6 CABINS
Overnight basic one room cabins (ca. 15 m2) that sleep either 2, 3 or 4 with fridge and kettle.
The 2-bed cabins have 2 single beds apart from eachother, the 3 -bed cabins have a single bed and a bunkbed and the 4-bed cabins have a double bed and a bunk bed.
All cabins are equipped with beds, mattresses, single duvets and pillows. Use of linnen is compulsory. Please bring your own bed linnen, pots, pans and cutlery.
Kitchen free to use in reception building.
No sanitary inside the cabin. 30-60 m to the service building.
Dogs are not allowed inside the cabins.
About the Coppens family
Hej,
We are the Coppens family.
Our family consists of my fantastic wife Monique, our 2 children Beau and Nora, and myself, Staf.
Since oct 2020 we have been living in Åmål. Monique is a figure skating coach in Säffle and our children also love to figure skate, so you will find them on the ice a lot. I work for flemish television, so in wintertime I will be in Belgium regularly..
The four of us share the same passion. For years we love to camp and every vacation we travel through Europe searching for the most beautiful places where we can spend our favorite time of the year. Some years ago we were guests at the wonderful place Camp Grinsby. For many years we have had a dream to run our own campsite, so when we found out this “pearl of a camping” was on sale we didn’t think twice, we went for it.
We left our lives in Belgium to follow our dreams.
We will continue camp Grinsby and cherish the ideas of Anders Svensson (the former owner) and all the beautiful aspects.
We still need to learn a lot, but we have Anders’s golden advice with us.
