Camp Grinsby is a beautiful location on Stora Bör lake, about 2 km from the E18 road.

There are several BBQ places on and around the campsite.

At the campsite you can find Camp Grinsby Cafe, we offer bread every morning and some days we offer snack Specials.

The nearest small grocery store is within 10 km, bigger grocery stores are in Årjäng.

Camp Grinsby can offer you some great exercise: walking trails and numerous scenic bike trails.

The surrounded areas have a wilderness look with many small and large waterways, with plenty of opportunities for relaxing canoe trips.

Stora Bör is a lake with about 80 islands of various sizes, and there are many attractive bays. You can enjoy peace and quietness on your own private island! The water is clean and can be drunk safely.

Camp Grinsby has excellent swimming and fishing.

Glaskogen (Glaskogens naturreservat), about 15 km away, has 300 km of rambling trails.

Citytrips to Karlstad (1 1/2 hours), Oslo (2 hours), Göteborg (3 hours).
